As if the CMS report of the cost of health care reform were not bad enough

Today we learn that the CMS report was submitted to Kathleen Sebelius, Secretary of Health and Human Services, a week before the scheduled vote on health care reform last month. This report states health care reform will cost $311 Billion more than Congress was projecting.

Last week USA Today and other publications of note released findings from the Center on Medicaid and Medicare services. The CMS is an agency under Health and Human Services. The report issued findings regarding the impact of the recently passed health care reform. You know the legislation that Nancy Pelosi said it needed to be passed so we can find out what’s in it. Thanks a lot Nancy!

For your reading pleasure here are some interesting tidbits from the CMS report:
• Health care costs will increase rather than being reduced
• Issued a warning that medicare cost reductions may be unrealistic
• May cause 15% of hospitals to operate in the red
• May jeopardize access to health care for seniors
• There will be increased costs associated with the expansion of health insurance coverage
• The true costs of health care reform is hidden by delaying the spending provisions
• Medicare cuts are unlikely to materialize
• You can’t double count medicare savings as the reform legislation attempts to do

To all of this can you say a big NO KIDDING

Anyone with half a brain could have intuitively told you these things. This is why the American public expressed their disapproval of the health care reform package.

Now to know that CMS issued a report prior to the legislation being passed and Kathleen Sebelius buried it. Infuriating!

We’ve been had. But we knew that didn’t we? This legislation needs to be repealed and Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid need to be retired back to San Francisco and Nevada.

I Don't Worry About The Constitution

So says Phil Hare (D-IL).
Even though he takes an oath to protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.

This is just an example of the corruption we have in Washington. The ambivalence or outright disdain these people have for our Constitution.

If our elected representatives will not protect and defend the Constitution, then we the people must.

Peope of the 17th Congressional District of Illinois, bid Phil Hare Goodbye!
